Ill piggle, need advice!

Hi everyone, been a while since I've posted on here, I'm really concerned about one of my 3 year old sows, I went down this morning and suddenly realised when I saw her that her eye was white, buldging and weeping, is it caterax or just an corneal infection? Should I take her to the vets tomorrow or wait for a few days and keeps cleaning it? Her eating pattern hasn't changed which is a good sign...... am I being paranoid or should I be concerned?

See a vet ASAP. Hope everything works out OK. Eyes need fast treatment.
If you can, make sure the vet has guinea pig experience.

I think they will check for any foreign body stuck in the eye, check for scratches. Then if needed you will possibly get given eye drops to put in, and painkiller that also works as an anti inflamitory. If it's a hay poke

There is a kind of lump near where her tear duct is so it's either something there or where the infection started.

Any issues with eyes are classed as emergencies and require prompt veterinary treatment. Eyes can deteriorate quickly. Let us know how you get on at the vet

Update: hi, thank you again everyone for the advice, we went to the vet this morning and she tested negative for an infection, so they think for what ever reason the blood flow in her eye is cut off and making it buldge and white, drops are now in and if it's not better ny next Monday then she'll need surgery or she might loose the eye
