I've been trying for wheeks to get a picture of my very illusive guinea pig Moose as he's just so gosh darned adorable but he's very shy so it's proving difficult.
Managed to take a sneaky picture whilst he was otherwise interested in his hay!

Please send love and piggie kisses as he's currently suffering from a rather nasty fungal infection and his piggie momma is v. worried about him 8...

awwwww he's gorgeous, i love the name Moose! x) hope he feels better soon...healing vibes to Moose x xoxo

Thanks, I love the name Drusilla. Buffy fan or um.. Caligula fan? lol

My boyfriend and I love Moose (proper Moose) and for some reason we wanted to call him that. There's also an old Scottish poem by Robert Burns called "To A Mouse" (Tae a Moose) which is very apt.

"Wee, sleekit, cow'rin, tim'rous beastie,
O, what a panic's in thy breastie!
Thou need na start awa sae hasty
Wi bickering brattle!
I wad be laith to rin an' chase thee,
Wi' murdering pattle."

Translated:

"Small, crafty, cowering, timorous little beast,
O, what a panic is in your little breast!
You need not start away so hasty
With argumentative chatter!
I would be loath to run and chase you,
With murdering plough-staff."

Also, it occured to me that you didn't ask lol. Sorry for the over-explaining.

I love it! whenever i read poems by Burns i always hear a deep scottish voice in my head!

and yes buffy fan, we have a Spike too and a parrot called Angel! :red

Haha, my boyfriend was fighting hard to call ours "Sam" and "Dean" after the Winchester bros in "Supernatural" lol.

Thanks guys, I'm not having much luck with my current non cavy savvy vet but luckily one of the ladies on here recommended a very good vet local to me which I'm going to see next week (he's on holiday).

What a fluffball! One of those piggies who looks the same from both ends! Glad to hear he is getting better.

Thanks Lilly, he's certainly acting like he's getting better. My cheekiest pig by far.

And yes, sometimes I get confused which end is which, especially when he's sleeping :)
