Hi I thought I'd have a go at posting some pics of my piggies, but I really can't get it to work.....

I've read the FAQ section, and that makes sense, it's just that after I upload a pic, it says I have more attachments on the green bar at the top, and the pic is listed underneath, but when I click on the attach bit in the message it's gone!

How do I get it into my message?
 
I have the same problem and just gave up. Whenever i was able to post a photo it was like a passport pic. I just enjoy looking at other peoples piggies but sadly cant share my own. Never been technically minded on things like that..
 
I just use Photobucket (its free). Hmmmm...hopefully someone can be of more assistance.
 
Are you trying to upload from a particular programme? I too use Photobucket.

You upload your photos onto Photobucket - you can use the bulk uploader, and then use the share option, click on get link code, then click in the box for IMG for Forums/Full Size - then copy the link they give you, and paste into your message... Its complicated, but once you;ve got the hang of it, it becomes addictive, (if you're obsessive like me! :) )

when you start a new message....there is a small box above your typing that looks like mountains with a stamp above them, in mine its yellow. click that...it will show a pop up box with this in it..... HTTP:// That is where you want to paste your code. In photobucket...there are about 4 different codes available....choose the one that begins http://. Once you put the code in and hit enter...it should put it in your message body. Hope this helps!

There you go. I have been on photobucket for an hour and a half. GRRRRRRRRRRRRR. This is so annoying. What am I doing wrong!
 
you can get it bigger than that from photobucket. Where are you choosing your link? Are you going into share, then IMG code?
 
I am going to scream.!!! I used the bulk uploader and the setting said that photo would be to forum size. then I copied the link onto the the add image option but as you can see total disaster. Going for a glass of wine. My nerves cant take much more.. If any moderators are online can you remove my previous posts on this thread.
 
ah, have you tried just copying and pasting the link directly onto the post, not into the add image option. thats what i do.

Also you can use the preview post option to check your image has worked before you post...

Didnt know about the preview post option. Been a member for months and never noticed it before. Once Ive had a glass of wine I will try again. Thanks for the tips..
