Oh dear it looks like I'm going to end up keeping my foster piggies.. In one way I've got very attached to them but I know they don't have as much room indoors as I'd like :-\ My own piggies are indoors in their c&c cage and the foster pigs are in a cage its between the nero 3 and nero4 ..

I've had 5 people phoning me up after seeing them on the piggie rehome, everytime I've told them what size is needed for 2 pigs they either email and are very rude or they don't contact me again!

We've talked about buying a shed and try to bond the 4 pigs, do you think 4 boars would work ?

There is a very slim tiny possibility of it but I would probably split them into two pairs O0

I would split them into 2 pairs as well, I have 7 boars living in my shed, in 2 sets of 2 and a trio and they all have very spacious c and c cages, so if you got a shed you would have plenty of room for 2 sets of 2 :)

focus are selling sheds for 89 quid and up at the mo and wilkersons had some in the sale at 149 with windows. I would get a shed and then 2 sets of boars could live in there not necessarily as 4 you would also have room for more rescues/fosters! :D :D :D

Why are they rude?

The last woman I spoke to about the piggies sounded lovely on the phone, as soon as I mentioned the min size 4x2 for 2 piggies she turned into a really nasty woman! I couldn't believe the change in her :( .. I think I'm going to end up getting a shed and leaving them in their pairs..

Arent some people horrid! We're struggling for space in our lounge with 2 big cages but i'd much rather my girlie's have space to run around than us pair of humans who spend our lives mostly on the sofa anyway! :D

i have fallen for the foster trap!
well the OH did as well
fostering four for SGPR
well Francis has catarahs and lives with teddy who's very timid
sage and woodruff where ok 'till woodruff caught sight of my girls! so seperated them
Sage has impacted bowel problem and i very timid around woodruff he would sleep under the hutch! so seperated them then it was a case of how fair would it be torehouse Francis and Teddy at least twice and who would want a half blind guinny? and sage is so timid and with problem we decided to adopt them then woodruff was going then something comes up and we are keeping him too! now keeping four boys and adopting one of mums (clover)
so i dunno good foster daddy or bad foster daddy? i dunno but they are cute :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:
