I (we) picked up Toffee and Fudge yesterday afternoon and they're gorgeous! Fudge is the more bold and has come out of hiding while we're there. Have to be patient and wait till Monday at least to hold them. Otherwise they eat and drink a bit so I'm happy. Here's a short video of them

This is Fudge. I'll try and get one of Toffee.

Congrats on your new piggies! Little Fudge is simply adorable!:drool::drool:

@Mother Hubbard the kids are smitten! They tell me every time they spot one My son even came upstairs to tell me Fudge was out of hiding and trying to climb up onto the hide :D I had to work Friday night and was thinking about them. I even asked my husband what they were doing when he last passed by
Thank you @Flutterby
Isn't he @CraftyCavies so is Toffee. I hadn't seen him since I came back downstairs so moved the hide to check on him and he was absolutely fine I do admit I have a soft spot for Fudge (the poor thing looks so much like a squirrel!) but Toffee is equally lush!

Oh my, what a cutie Fudge is
He is, they both are. And now the landlord has allowed me to keep them inside as I am careful. SQUEEEEEE!! :yahoo::drool::love::clap:XD I'm so happy! He's a lovely landlord anyway.
Here's Toffee. He came out his shell a bit yesterday and was eating while we were there. He also took a piece of cucumber from my hand :hug:They were also both coming up to smell and nibble at my (gloved) hand as I was spot cleaning. CUTE!

Thank you @sport_billy I will :) They're still a bit scatty so we had short holding periods as I was cleaning out the cage. When they were on me they were clambering to get back in though :D I think we'll continue with brief moments out the cage until they're a bit more used to it. I also found that covering Toffee seemed to keep him more settled in the time he was being held.

That is a great idea, we start new pigs with lap time for a really short time then build up as you are suggesting, they will soon settle and sounds like they are doing so already. Young piggies are indeed scatty and really quick, they are liek children short attention spans and into everything, it is all very exciting for them :)
