Not that anyone would notice (and why would you). I'm back after a very stressful two weeks.
Myself, daughter, son-in-law, and granddaughter had to live in a hotel for two weeks one room with a bathroom. Horrendous wasn't the word. My house no water, no electric apart from one working socket,no toilet, and no hot water (obviously). Had to compute to my sons to eat everyday. Couldn't afford takeaways everyday, not to mention it not good for you! Had to go back and forth to look after my animals. The boys were fine as was Gino my budgie, the rats, and the fish plugged into the only working socket. Anyways were due back in the house on Tuesday all good. Monday morning had a phone call. I boarded out my beloved beardie Aldo so he was safe, but no Aldo had died that morning. I was mortified . Thought thing couldn't get worse I cry about this all the time I did it for the best and he still died. I know he was getting old he was 7, but the fact I wasn't there for him makes mr feel worse. But still I still have my other pets. But no one will fill aldos boots. So I'm not even going to try. RIP my gentle man. Twinkling star in the sky with my Andy. Rest well little one x

So sorry to hear about Aldo and the awful situation you have been in. I truly believe these experiences happen to make us stronger. I hope everything turns around for you soon.

I am ever so sorry for your loss! It is tough to deal with it in view of the stress you are currently under; you did your best to protect him and did what I would have done in your situation. Sadly, at that great age it often doesn't take much to upset the cart with a frail elderly piggy.

Having camped out in our living room for two months without a kitchen or running water downstairs (and two piggies through all the building work), I know how hard and stressful it is.

You have given Aldo a very long and happy life and have put his needs into your consideration first and foremost right to the end.
