I'm back

I’m not sure what you meant @jayne. Have you had to return them to pets at home because your landlord says no pets?

Maybe you could volunteer at a local animal shelter. That way you get to look after animals but without actually keeping them. ❤️

More and more landlords are refusing to allow pets of any description or charging tenants are totally disproportionate amount of extra rent for the privilege of keeping their pets so you are not alone Jayne. I’m sorry that you’ve had to return them to pets at home but you do need to keep your landlord on side. What a great idea to volunteer at a local animal shelter. I’m sure there are many who will be looking for extra help.

I’m sorry that you can’t keep your guinea pigs Jayne and are having to return them to pets at home 😞 We were lucky that our landlord let us keep pets when we rented including a cat and even though we had to pay a small deposit for him, it wasn’t extortionate which most landlords are asking for now or even not allowing pets at all.

It’s a sad state of affairs but I’m afraid that’s the world we are living in 😞

But I think that volunteering at a local animal shelter is a great idea which I’m sure you’ll find as rewarding if not more so than keeping animals of your own x
