I wasnt gone for long but i was very sad because my dad won't let me have a pair of piggies :'( so i put all my time in my chinchillas.

Now i wanna come back and see you all and read what your piggies have been up to!

My friend who kept her guinea pig outside in the freezing cold all winter, without anything to keep it warm and got mad at the boy who kept him in the shed in the winter now keeps her guinea pig in the run and goes out. There are foxes around our area and she has 2 cats who watch the guinea pig

Also she doesnt spend time with her guinea pig, she lifts him up to put him back in the hutch.. sometimes

when i pick him up he started chirping and chittering (sort of) at me, it was cute but then my friend told me to put him down, she doesnt even put his food in the run he spends all day in and took out the house that was in the run because he hid in there because its too sunny... grrr >:(

I cant believe her sometimes.... Also she wont come onto this forum because she already knows everything about guinea pigs... and she wants to be a vet, and she loves animals more than me.... she doesnt spend time with her guinea pig, i spend 5-7 hours with my chinchillas, in the evening because they are nocturnal

Sorry about the rant and i will start to come on here lots more now

Also she doesnt put water in the run which he looks very lonely in!
 
Hi welcome back :)

First off let me start by saying ''some bloody friend", i wouldn't want to be associated with anyone like that and to me your friend sounds like she is neglecting her guinea pig, and you could call the RSPCA...this may give her a shock and make her care for her guinea pig better! No one should be allowed to get away with treating their animal this way.

If admin will let me i will print off some pages on guinea pigs and give them to her and force her to read it and see what she does, if she loves her guinea pig she will change other wise i dont know what will happen to the guinea pig
 
Glad you're back :) and i totally agree with all the above, RSPCA she's not caring for her furbaby it's just plain old cruelty >:(
