I was just on youtube watching some cute piggie videos when I saw something wierd. It was a video titled: 'The family guinea pig jumps on our trampoline'. It then showed footage of a poor piggie that was put on a trampoline and the whole family was jumping so the piggie bounced high into the air. The poor pig looked really scared and they were all laughing. Here's the link:

Shouldn't there be people at youtube who take stuff like this off? I thought the GP's nails were too long too, obviously not a family who cares for their piggy :'(
 
I saw this ages ago and it made me :tickedoff: By the way the illiterate messages are written I would say the person has a screw loose!

I hope someone puts him on a bouncy castle and doesn't let him off for a day, see how he likes it the cruel scum bag!

I doubt they would consider that as innapropriate because that 'Flag as innapropriate' button is usually reserved for like, nudity and stuff.
I am really upset about this because inexperienced guinea pig owners may think that this is ok and maybe a fun pastime for piggies.

The poor pig was crying for help, not enjoying it! Sick person. It's just so wrong! You would think that even someone who knew squat about animals wouldn't do that. Someone needs to set all of them straight before they do some serious harm to their piggies. :tickedoff: :tickedoff: :tickedoff:
 
The person who owned the video posted (and then I think deleted) a comment that said the guinea pig had died. Either the dog had got it or someone had dropped it, I can't remember.

Don't let the comments wind you up, it's what they want them to do. Flag it as inappropriate- that's what I did. Since the video is hosted in the USA and the owner lives in the USA, the RSPCA can't do anything.
 
i have seen this before, why do people do this kind of thing to poor animals? the poor piggie looks terrified. Makes me very :'( and :tickedoff: to see that.

I had a feeling that was going to happen, what with all the stress etc. Stupid people.

What a gorgeous pig! Some people aren't fit to have them! My opinion is if you can't give 100% love and care then you aren't fit to have an animal.

I agree. Some people refer to piggies as 'throw-away pets'. My 8-year-old god brother has had 5 piggies and each of them died. The problem was that his mother kept getting them for him when he wasnt ready. He didnt know how to look after them, and look at the result. :'(
 
I blame You Tube too cos they really shouldn't be putting stuff like that on there. I was on another forum this morning and apparently there's a video of a gp with a snake! The poster didn't put the outcome as he couldn't bear to watch the whole thing but I'm guessing there probably wasn't a happy conclusion to it. The poster said at first he thought the piggy was a pretend one as it didn't move, then moved its head. Poor baby was obviously terrified. I'd like to think these morons are in the minority but sometimes I'm really not so sure. :'(
 
I like watching the new baby pigs on YouTube, so cute there are a few on there. I'm not breeding my pigs so its as close as I'll get! ;D But I can't watch anything horrid. I know about the snake thing and it would be too much! I can't stand to see any animal hurt.
 
I can't condone what they did at all, but because guinea pigs make pretty much the same noise, a majority of the time, thanless you know the differnce between the noises as most of us do people think wow this is enjoying it, but one would think if they have a brain that a small animal wouldn't enjoy that sort of thing to happen to it,,,
 
Poor thing :'(

The whole thing was repulsive. Comments like, "Higher" and "Where is she" make me sick. The pig probably made thosescratches in it trying to cling on. And as for the bit at the end when the pig was trying to struggle away. I can't put it into words suitable for this forum :tickedoff:

...even though its in there for a short amount of time - I still felt sorry for it being the focal point of entertainment. :( I dont mind swimming if it is for 'therapy' purposes.
 
That wasn't that bad though. Yes the person shouldn't be plonking the piggy in for entertainment but it wasn't thrashing about and at least she was handling it properly. I don't condone that but its not the worst thing to see :'(

Oh I know... she probably loves her piggy to pieces but I just felt sorry for the little mite thats all O0 I would never do it personally as I think one of my 2 would have a heart attack! That piggy had no choice but to swim really.... :-\ ...couldn't 'thrash about' ....too busy staying afloat bless its little heart. Its not the worst thing Ive seen either :'(

feel really sorry for the trampoline piggy though....
 
I can't even watch the video, I daren't :-\ how can these people do things like this? If the pig has died, it's heaps better off at the Bridge than with those morons. Karma will give them what they deserve in time.
 
I cant watch the video, nothing winds me up more than watching cruelty to animals when i cant get hold of the people and hurt them badly! I dont really know what to say it just makes me so angry, i become another person when i see that sort of thing, I'm like the hulk! >:(
