I'm horrified!

there is also a vid where the person films their dead piggy in its cage NEXT TO ANOTHER LIVING PIGGY for 2 MINUTES! :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(. Shouldn't they be saying goodbye the right way, not filming it for youtube?
 
Wojo, I've seen that one too! Not good! It really upset me, on the plus side I like the cucumber fighting piggies, so cute. :)

Actually it was a personal decision to film it and while it's something I wouldn't personally do, I don't think we can judge. People deal with grief in different ways and I know she thought it would benefit others to know as it seems to help other pigs to say goodbye (the person is a well-respected member of Guinea Lynx). I know, having done it myself (not filming it!), that it seems to provide some sort of closure for the other guinea pig(s) to know that their friend hasn't just disappeared.

More time should be spent on the videos that demonstrate actual cruelty and people should contact YouTube to complain that it is unacceptable to freely broadcast such material.

I agree,I think the film mentioned was for closure,personally I wouldn't film something like that ,but everyone to their own,she wasn't trying to be cruel,the same cannot be said for the usa video,cruel and sick bxxxxds :tickedoff:

just watched the original clip for the first time (the trampoiline one) that is appalling, where are the parents? kids do very silly things not knowing that they are scaring or hurting animals but surely some adult has been involved in this somewhere... that poor little piggie. people make me angry. :'(

I've seen the vid of the dead pig in the cage aswell. :'(No offence to that person but I think that could be bad for the other piggies if the dead pig was sick, the others could catch it's disease. :'(
 
I hear you. It's so wrong. When my precious baby Ebony passed on, the last thing I wanted to do was film it! All I did was cry. I feel that grief is a personal thing, and that posting things like that on Youtube will only get people upset. It certainly got me upset! But as daftscotslass said, people deal with death in different ways, and we shouldn't judge.

The pig involved didn't have a disease, it died following complex surgery - hence the bandage in the film.

Personally, the worst video I ever saw was a guinea pig who lived in a tank, taken out and made to "dance" by holding it under its shoulders and letting the rest of its body dangle. This was on MySpace and the video was removed.

ive flagged that video its sickening to think what some people do to poor animals.
 
Did you see what the b*stard wrote about stamping on his pig's tummy? And the dogs using her as a squeaky toy? I was disgusted - I joined You Tube so I could comment, they haven't printed my comment but I have flagged it and also reported it to the RSPCA. Just read on here that this "person" lives in the states so the RSPCA can't do anything - poor poor little piggy. I'd like to thump the creep.

Sorry for double post but:

She only squeeks when I step on her tummy real hard/,,it gets fat for a day, and she won't eat opr drink for aa few days, but that;s ok, i'm getting ready to step o her and make a foot fetish DVD for a few hundred bucks,. :-)

Actually I wish you guys wouldn't even make threads about them on the forum. We are impotent and we get so upset.
 
God I just wish there was some sort of organisation that checked up on people who keep animals. I get so incensed by so called "animal lovers" making their animals do things for their own enjoyment and entertainment :tickedoff:
