hi on saturady i got 2 new female guinea pigs they were ex breeders and had a litter each but in the last day or 2 ive noticed one of them is pilling on the pounds i need help ive tryed emailing who i got them from but no reply she is 2yrs old and very lumpy i havent got a clue what to look out for is she preg what do you think :{ ive tryed to take a pic from all sides she hatesbeing held and squills at me as if I'm trying to hurt her....:0

Welcome to the forum. That's ok one of the mods will move it for you. :)

Yeah she does look a bit podgy doesn't she? The signs to look for are of course weight gain (weigh weekly) drinking more and eating more. She may be narky too and rest a lot.

From 4 weeks there will be weight gain and from 7 weeks you can see babes move. Pigs are pregnant for 10 weeks. Looking at your miss though she looks like she is over 4 weeks if she is pregnant. :)
