So,

Today I was zipping around my kingdom when this little mis-shapen cranberry poked through the fencing. I took a nibble, it wasn't very nice and it screamed. Suddenly the tiny human I have always been best friends with no longer wants to play with me and won't sit and have dinner with me anymore.

I heard the big human say "That's why I told you not to put your hands thru the bars!" whatever that means. But now I seem to be in trouble with the mini human and have lost my best playmate.

Just to clarify, Freyja did not break the skin so the scream was more shock than anything. The child involved often reaches into the C&C cage without event (Freyja usually comes over to sniff...but only for THAT human. She runs off if any other hands come near even mine! In fact ONLY this child can hand feed her!).
However this was the first and now I think "last" time there will be any poking thru the bars instead of reaching over. Some lessons are learned the harder way.

At least no one was harmed and no blood was drawn. I honestly think she was just curious as she has never tried to bit or nibble hands before even when being caught or bathed which she HATES.

Plus sometime I think they use their teeth to 'explore' new things.

And freya is a very beautiful piggie too - what great photos.

YES! My pigs do give my finger a soft little nibble if I have not offered food first. One little bite "not food, ok" and they let me pet them

Thanks, she is quite photogenic sometimes. I like how her nose blaze is a little off center, and her two-toned brown bottom which changes color in a perfect line down the middle!

And yes I think she was just exploring, but it's not always easy to convince kids that the animal didn't mean any harm. I'm sure they will be friends again soon enough.
