Patrick loves humans, I guess it takes time for them to come round but he's never not been friendly. I got him from rescue a year ago, I gained his trust fairly quickly but he did was a good teacher (Pebbles) taught him the Slave isn't so bad. Although he get's given med's daily so doesn't really like them but all and all he's not a scared pig and never really has been.

I think it depends on who had them before hand - ie if they where neglected.

Maybe just not human interaction - I imagine she rescued them from somewhere else.

Fred is my only timid pig and he was absolutely terrified when I first got him. He's very highly strung - flighty pig it took ages for him to even take food from my hands. He's much better now - just takes time to bring them round but I think pig's like him and your girls will never fully trust people.
 
These two were her pets not rescued one's and they are terrified of people, i think they would be better off just the two of them rather than in my herd, everyone in the familly get's the one's that are friendly plus they seem to hide away from the other's (and each other) as much as possible they squeal when you pick them up and are always so wide eyed i think their eye's will pop out, i have a pigs who would rather not be picked up but they aren't so dramatic about it, i just feel sorry for them

I might have to bookmark this just so i can keep coming to look at his beautiful little face - i am however slightly concerned that there is no warning for Glynis! Velvet and Onyx are going to have to pump hard to get her to come around from this :))
