How quick would a pair of pigs get through a 2kg bag?
I'm so bad with amounts, and money so yeah.
I want them to get good food, that gives them what they need but i can't spend ridiculous amounts on it, i looked oat Burgess excel tasty nuggets but for 4 odd pound its alot for a 2kg bag right?
What would you suggest, ( have looked at the reviews btw )

I had a 2kg bag of the excel nuggets and it lasted my pair about a month, give or take. I don't really measure out their food, i just top their bowl up when it is empty. Just got them a 10kg bag so expecting it to last until June/July time.

My pigs seem to have developed a sense of taste. I bought a bag of crappy supermarket piggie food as I was worried they'd run out of nuggets before I could get back to the pet food shop and they hated it. Never known them to leave food before but they definitely turned their noses up at it :))

I've just swapped mine onto the Wagg pellets. They are basically the same as Excel, but are cheaper and you can get them from most supermarkets. When I just had the 2 it would last me about a month for 2kg's of excel.

Yeah that's the one I have :) It's just easier for me to get hold of as I shop in Asda and it's a lot closer to walk that the pet shops that sell Burgess.

definitely use pellets so as not to encourage selective eating. I use excel pellets. The best ones are cavy cuisine or science selective but you pay for them! To be honest I'd stick with excel. Personally i wouldn't buy from PAH or anywhere that breeds and sells guineas for profit, but that's your decision x

I think ill go with the wagg pellets then :) there not too expensive, but there still good :) and plus we shop in asda too :)
