I cant contain my excitement, after many unsuccessful dates my fabulous boy Nigel has been on the waiting list for a baby boy. He is not an aggressive pig, just doesn't know what to do when he meets another piggy so should cope fine with a baby. Well the wait is finally over and I get to meet his (hopefully) new baby friend on Friday! His potential mate Rhodri is a like a ball of cotton wool!

While Nigel has been waiting for a bambino we have had a lovely lad on foster called Cole so Nigel can chat to him through the bars. We have grown rather too fond of this little lad so he will be going dating on Friday too to find a new buddy. I wonder who he will choose!

I'm like a kid at Christmas and have been constantly thinking about piggies all week. Its just all too exciting for me! @)
 
Yay. I'm really happy for Nigel and I don't blame you for getting attached to the foster piggie!
Good luck for Friday, show us lots of pigtures!

Thats Christopher, he passed away in September. He was a respiratory piggy but very naughty indeed! He died a very happy lad after being rescued from a market stall. I know i shouldn't have done it as pet shops will never learn but he was in a terrible state and when I started asking questions about him they asked me to take him. He was only 2 1/2 when he died but at least he lived his short life in a nice home.
 
aw how sweet, have to admit i have taken in foster degus in the past i easily get attached lol
 
I know how you feel Torieraa! My poor piggy was on his own since August and he was only ickle at the time. At least he has a little piggy wifey now. But I was soo happy on Sunday when we picked Millie up and brought her home. But not quite as happy as Melvin :)
 
Aww bless little Melvin I bet he is loving having a wifey pig. I think Nigel would love a wifey too but as he opted to keep his wobbly bits he will have to make do with a man friend!rolleyes

It will be lovely for him to finally have a friend to cwtch up to again tho.
