I have spent the last week or so endlessly ringing around and visiting companies trying to find some kind person who would offer us a huge discount on a shed so we could afford it! The cheapest one I had been quoted was £600 way too much for us. Well today a kind company has offered us one for £300. So so excited. We are half way there to raising this money and with a little more puching I'm sure we will be there very soon.

So excited we currently only have enough room for about 20 - 25 piggies in the rescue and desperately need more room as we are turning piggies away and I dont want that (I know its inevitable we will fill up whatever our size) I'm so so excited. The garden is all ready weve layed the foundations for the shed and my very kind dad will be insulating it and boarding it out.

Exciting times for us and well worth all the hard work of trawling the internet, ringing and visiting companies.
After only been open a month we knew we needed a larger area but I'm so pleased its happened so quickly. My life and my families life is devoted to the piggies and we love them so much. We are absolutely delighted and just wanted to shout to the world! :)

Yeah! Well done. That's some negotiating skills!
Please can we have pigtures of your set up when your new shed arrives?

That's great news. It's good how kind some people can still be. I'm sure your piggy residents will be really grateful. xx

Well done! Have sent you an email to offer a donation as I couldn't PM you!

Good work! Look forward to seeing it all completed.

Well done. That's great news and well negotiated. Can't wait to see the pictures when it's all set up.

We are so pleased, we have come a plan which we can put into place now. We are going to build the shed which will cost alot less and we have enough now due to generous donations we have recieved.
So work will commence very shortly. We have just taken in 6 piggies tonight which are in terrible condition, I have never seen such terrible skin before and 1 is epileptic. At least 3 of them will be permanent residents here- its so sad :-( Then when the new building is done another 18 are waiting to come to us, all of which have been abandoned on a lady who rung us in depseration at these guinea pigs landing on her doorstep!

So I would like to thank everyone who has been so kind, this is such a huge step for us and we are delighted that we will be able to help more piggies once its complete.

Thanks everyone, I will be posting lots of pics once the work is complete :)
