hello my rescue pig gordon has got quite bad over night his breathin has become very loud and weazy he is eating and drinking but I'm worried i know the care home said he is an old boy but not now please not yet :(8...8...

It may be a chest infection for which antibiotics are needed.
It could be something as straightforward as "hay fever".
Let him sniff some Olbas Oil for a few seconds every 30 minutes or so and see if that makes his breathing a little easier.
At the very worst it could be the onset of heart failure, which is not good news.
Keep us updated.

he has his own room and ive just been in to see him he is very doppy and sleepy still breathing funny but hs is also cold so ive put him in my bedroom its a bit warmer in there but not enough to make a big difference that its shocks him :(8...8...

Book him in at the vets as soon as possible for respiratory tract infection. Keep him warm an cosy until then.

AWW so sorry to hear this. :( I hope he picks up.

Please let us know what happens. Poor baby.

if you have hot waterbottle can you fill it with tap / warm water put somethng soft on it and put him on there.

ive been on the phone to my friend she is a vet she said he might be on his way to heaven I'm so upset but she is going to have a look at him tommorow 8...8...8...

AWW Bless. Just make him comfortable and stay close by as sad as you feel. Hopefully tomorrow will come quickly.

I am sending my vibes to poor Gordon!

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

His left side has collapsed as ive put him to bed i think tonight is his last I'm so upset i cant stop crying but i know he will be happy in guinea pig heaven i love you gordon always and forever <3

If he is cold, especially his ears, then it is not looking good.
Apart from being with him there is nothing you can do for him. Seven years old is a big age for a pig, even so it it is still sad news.
