Thank you. They all passed away and I couldn’t leave Esme living by herself but I also wanted to end the piggy cycle as for various reasons, I needed a break so Esme has gone to live with Wiebke and is now living with 3 friends. It was heartbreaking and I still feel sad even now and she’s been with Wiebke for just over a year 😞 but I know I did the right thing for Esme and it’s lovely seeing her so happy with her new friends ❤️

Hello all.
Well the little love Mavis sadly died today sometime.
She had ups and little downs this am not a lot of interest in food but she’s done that before
Course I terrible upset and tears flowing her daughter has spent day with her dead mum so she will know
Age wow got her 2 years before corvid and she was a great piggie and mother to her daughter and they really batted off each other.
I know I must be grateful she died at home and in comfort after a big clean this week.
She’s a great weight and I’m gona guess she had a growth or internal problem I was never had a hint vet trip necessary but they are
She looks so bloody peaceful

So sorry to read you sad news.. It mut have been such a shock to find her in her forever sleep, and no words can take away your grief right now but she would have known how much love you had for her and she made her way to the bridge from her home with her daughter at her side. Grief hurts, so take care of yourself as you journey through it. She was a beautiful piggy.

I'm so sorry David. Mavis was a wonderful age and had a life full of love. There was nothing you could or should have done, it was her time, those ifs and buts are a pain but a natural part of grieving. Look after yourself as you grieve for your special girl.

I am so very sorry for your loss. 7 years about is a great age to live to, though. Often it is just their day at that kind of age when the body slows down - you can never tell or choose what gives first in the end but if it is not one thing it will be another. :(

Just try to take comfort that her Mavis's journey to the Bridge has been a peaceful and gentle one.

Your strong little girl became a 7 years old lady. Thats a pretty good age! Celebrate her memory, and all your sweet memories of her. Take care of yourself
