I'm such a meanie...trying to make my boys explore!

Poor Ralph. He went off to explore and then realised that exploring wasn't so fun after all!



Lil Arnold was all "Where's Ralph? Halp! Mummy!"



If my dad found out that my piggies were on his precious kitchen rug...I'd be SO dead. :{
So this is our secret ;)
 
Also, don't panic. I won't infect my boys with my germs.
My cold is generally gone, I just have headaches and a sore throat left...My throat is what's making my voice sound funny.
:)) Just incase some of you panic, cos I know you can pass these things on to your piggies.
That's what I heard, at least. When my cold was really bad, I stayed away from them as much as possible but I'm so much better now. @)
 
Piggies prefer to explore from the safety of a sheltered position and make a dash to the next one until they are comfy with the space they are in. Too much open space will make them freeze up - it's a very deep seated survival instinct.

Yeah. They really hated it. It's funny, though. Ralph jumped out of his pet pad and ran for it and then suddenly he stopped as if to say "Uh...This was a bad idea..."

I gave him a nice cuddle afterwards.

Arnold wasn't overly bothered. He just gets all upset when he can't find Ralph.
It's sad, he wants to be with Ralph but Ralph can barely tolerate Arnold. I feel so bad for lil Arnold...I always worry that he's lonely.

If it weren't for the fact that my dad would have gone nuts if he came home, I would have rigged the kitchen for them. With pigloos and stuff.

I actually plan to do it with the living room tomorrow...As long as no one's home.
If they enjoy it, I can make it a regular thing.
It's just the pigproofing that isn't very easy in our living room.

That's good to know.
I was told that they could catch colds from humans. So I always stay away from them when I'm sick.
I obviously feed them :)) I just don't take them out for cuddles.
I'd never forgive myself if I made them sick :(

Glad to know that they can't catch my cold, though.
 
Ive had alot of piggys into the rescue over the last few months that i have been REALLY ill, not a single one of them have caught my colds. Most of the piggys ive had latly have been pretty ill and with low immune systems aswell.

So in short its very unlikly they will catch a cold from you. Enjoy your cuddles when your ill now :)
 
no better then a piggie cuddle when full of cold

mine act a bit different round me when i've got a cold xx
