I've been ridiculously paranoid recently that my girls are gonna have/get an illness that I'm not going to notice! WHat do you think are the chances that somehting like that would happen?

not very likely if you are vigilant and weigh regularly the chance of you not noticing will be pretty slim, also as you know your little piggies characters you should pick up on changes quite quickly.

lol.... I think its better to worry about things when / if they do happen rather than when there's nothing wrong

As long as you keep an eye on any changes in them and also on their weights and they get fresh water / food / oodles of hay and are clean and warm there's no need for them to have any problems....

Its better to enjoy them than worry .... IMO

Argh, I know you're all right, but I can't help but worry over them! I hate to think what I'll be like when I have real children!
