I'm Taking A Urine Sample To The Vet This Morning

Bess's bottom was a bit damp last night - and I noticed a faint smell of stale wee .

I've got her an appointment at the vet this morning . So, Bess and Sparkle are having a generous portion of cucumber in their breakfast ...

Breakfast is over - so, now Bess is in a clean plastic container

I use a pet carrier but clean plastic container will do.

I like to use this one as it has a clear plastic lid , I know Bess is safe if I get called away. ( previous experience had taught me I often need a wee before my Guinea Pigs !)

I also have a 10 ml syringe ready to collect the sample

You can buy syringes easily online.
 
... and have some kitchen paper handy to clear away any droppings.

Thank You Bess ! I thought I'd have a thread worthy of a sticky !

All I have is one poo contaminated urine sample !


I'll take it anyway !

She's fine . I won't forget that morning in a hurry ! I only turned my back for a few minutes - where did all that poo come from ?
