I'm taking her to the vet. How much?

Thank you to everyone who persuaded me to get my piggy to a vet soon. You opinions were greatly appreciated and I will defiantly see about her getting an appointment soon. I am definitely taking her but just so I know what i'm in for how much does it cost for a vet to check my piggy out? I know it may be different where I live (Ohio) but I just would like to know what you have payed for appointments before. Thanks.
 
All I know is that vet cost in the US are generally much higher than here in the UK. I have to leave this one to our American friends!
 
Ok so I called my vet. They have 2 exotic animal specialists. It will cost $30 and anything else that is added such as medications. Thanks for your help though.
 
Well I am getting that sorted out and will let you know when I get more information.
 
I am a teen so I am sorting it out with my parents right now. It may be a little bit before I know but I am definitely wanting to get her to a vet soon.
 
I pay $54 dollars for the initial visit and than anything else is extra.
 
Small change in plans.

Ok so my parents would like me to try an anti-fungal cream they know works first and see what happens. If that doesn't work we will probably try the vet.
