Tia has always been the nervy, snatch and run type piggy.
Always last out and takes her food away to eat it, she is a fidget during cuddles and frightens at the slightest movement.
However, today we have made process, I bought a reduced 5p :) bag of dill from asda as it was still good so got it as a treat for the girls.

As soon as i was outside Esme and Ruby were climbing the bars, poor Rosie was oblivious and Tia was nowhere to be seen.

Fed the two that were begging and then opened the big hutch door, and offered the girls some. After a few moments a little face poked out from her bed and tentatively made her way across very slowly. She took a piece of dill and jumped backwards, but she kept coming back for more and stayed a bit longer each time. She even let me stroke her nose without running off.

So pleased we are finally getting somewhere. x

My boys LOVE dill. Its what I'm using to bond with mine, and yesterday I too got to stroke their faces while they were eating.:))

You have to bear in mind that I have had my three ginger girls since May last year, so it has taken a long time for her to come out of her shell, which makes it an even bigger achievement. x

It's so lovely when they start coming out of their shells. All 3 of my girls were completely skittery when we got them, they've all made fantastic progress and are proper confident little lady-pigs now. :)

Patience and persistence wins the day! It is such a special moment when it finally happens; thank you for sharing it with us!

She came over for a bit of celeriac this morning, had a stroke and then ran off ;)

Well done little ASBO piggie! drool

Its great she is gaining trust, well done!
