Impaction in a 5 month old!

My critically ill piggie (IE not thought to make it through the night) I think is impacted!

I've cleaned away the obviously gunk(whilst gagging from the smell), how far can I/should I open his bum to clean!? x

I'm not an expert on impaction but in a 5mnth old i would say very rare to be, but not impossible. Ive cleared a few, have a look at this link, gives some great info on clearing impactions:

I no its rare in young ones, but Loral is already ill, so may explain it!

his *** end was full of white gunk, after I removed the poo
