Impaction

My little guinea is 3 but he has impaction I think. I clean his little bottom regularly. Is it pointless taking him to the vet? Can anything be done apart from cleaning him? He has a brother from the same litter with him and he is the boss. They have a decent den, are on the garden daily and I bring them in the house on a daily basis too.

3 sounds quite young to get impaction problems but I could be wrong, it sounds like you're looking after them both well but I would take him to the vet just to check him over
