VickiA, sorry about your piggy Poppy, that sounds like you had a difficult time with her 
Wiebke, he's on Domperidone once a day, sulfatrim twice a day and metacam 0.1ml twice a day (can't remember the strength). If the vet found anything on a scan, she will more than likely push for palliative care which is the decision I made with the vet for my other piggy who is still going strong.

Hi everyone, hope it's ok to post on this thread again from two weeks ago...
I sought out an exotic Vet for Chester and have spent a lot of money on vet care. He stopped eating and stopped passing pee/poo.
Unfortunately I've had to have Chester put to sleep during an anaesthetic today
The vet did Xray and found dental issues, extremely full bladder with sludge, and extreme amount of gas in his tummy, his stomach was twisted and severely distended. It was the kindest thing to do. Not really sure what has caused this, worried about my other piggy now.
I just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone on this forum - your support and advice has always been so helpful and the information on here is really valuable. Now, to grieve and remember my beautiful boy has had a great life.

Oh I am so very sorry for your loss. Sounds like you tried everything you could for your little man.
