Was cleaning out the piggies today and it came to Toffee's turn, as I went to take him out his cage I felt that stabbing pain in my hand, I thought maybe it was time to clip his nails, I went to put him down onto the bed and the pain was toffee's teeth stuck into my hand! He was biting and almost chewing my hand and when I went to put him down he wouldn't let go! Toffee is the most tame pig I've ever came across! I don't know what's made him do this but he's taken a huge chunk out my hand! 8...
 
Oh gosh! How awful! Does he seem to be unwell? Perhaps he is in pain somewhere which he is hiding and he bit you because he is hurting?
 
Oh no - sure he didn't mean to hurt you and sorry to hear this has happened :(
It does sound as though he could be in pain so would pop him to your vet - Metacam is commonly prescribed for piggies and is an anti inflammatory too.
Has the vet seen the lump you mention previously ?
My gentle girl nipped me and drew blood last week after her meds. and I knew it was because she was unwell and wanted to be left alone. She's never nipped before and hasn't since.

Aww poor you and Toffee! That is odd, I would agree that he is maybe not very well because piggies rarely bite even if they are scared :(
