I brought these two girls home yesterday afternoon in honour of our recently passed ladies.
I hope to get Meg and Willa integrated with one or both current herds soon.
Frankie and Jasmine aren't especially happy together, so hopefully these two will go in with them. Jasmine needs a friend, and Frankie needs someone to look after, so I hope Willa and Meg will be those piggies repectively. I have another few scenarios if that doesn't work so keep your fingers crossed for us. -c

I wasn't sure about going back up to 8 piggies so soon, but the rescue had these two girls right away and, after a couple of days without Tup, I felt I could love more little heartbreakers once again. I think of these girls - and the two adopted three days after we lost Charlie (Saffron and Breanna) in honour of those piggies who just left us. Hence the namings - (Breanna) Charleyrose, (Willamina) Tuppyrose and (Meghan) Lottie-Rose.

Two stunning piggies Laura, I particularly x)x) Willa and I have to have a soft spot for Meg as that's my youngest daughters name!

A really fitting tribute to your two Rainbow Bridge girls, I 'm sure they will both be looking down and thinking "well done mum"!

I hope the new additions will soon feel right at home.

what beautiful girls. i hope you have a long, happy and healthy life together. i'm sure these two will bring plenty of smiles and happy memories xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Aww thats lovely.
Remember your not replacing the ones you lost as that could never happen.
Your girl's would be proud that you helping unforunate ones.
They are gorgeous girls.

Take care Hunni

Lovely girls, they are both very pretty and such lovely names too.

The decision to get more animals after loosing one is a very personal choice and it certainly doesn't alter how we feel about the ones at Rainbow Bridge.

I think it's great though that these two girls are in a home now rather than a rescue. The distraction of getting a new arrival can sometimes help us come to terms though with the loss of our others.

They are two very fortunate ladies, I bet the rescue was delighted - as like so many others I expect rehoming is rather slow at the moment. :)

Awww you're two new girls look stunning and will live very happy lives with you. Even though you have given these 2 a home, the ones at Rainbow Bridge will never be forgotten x

Meg & Willa are beautiful Laura; their names are a lovely tribute to Lottie & Tuppy x) May they bring you much happiness x

They are just lovely and I am sure giving a loving home to 2 rescue girls will help you come to terms with your loss.

Enjoy them, they are lucky ladies to have you as their mum!

Thank you for the lovely comments. :)

I've been laying off photos for the past few days as Meghan bit Willa's eye (not too nasty as eye injuries go, but it was getting steadily worse over the day until I got the chloramphenicol drops in), so I don't want to go flashing the camera at her until it's healed a little more, but I managed to photograph her on her good side earlier. I am aiming for a proper photo shoot when we get some natural daylight coming in. Flash does not work at all well now, with three pink/ruby eyed pigs.

We figured out Meghan's new nickname a few days back: Meggie Lou. Which is much better than if we had given her a first name of Dorothy (on our shortlist) when she would have become Dotty Lottie! Meggie Lou is much sweeter.

Today they moved into the big C&C with Frank and Jasmine. They had their first floor time as a group two nights ago. Not a single problem. As expected, Frank got a little OTT with the chasing and rumbling, but Meg is a match for him and he has calmed down a lot. Willa and Jasmine seem to have taken to each other well. They all just get on. I have never had as quiet, peaceful and simple an introduction. Willa is still very small and I think she'd get her head in a grid if she pushed it, so I've double-gridded what I can and covered the rest with blankets. I left most of the top level un-proofed and she lost interest in the grids pretty quickly, so hopefully I can leave a few more grids open as time goes on. She is like Bree always was, very dainty.

Look forward to more pics and news about them :)

They are both so lovely, Lottie and Tuppence would be proud. I love Meg, but I very much want to pignap Willa, she is GORGEOUS x)
