Alice, one of the Sheltie group, was heavily pregnant on arrival and sadly she had a litter of still-born babies (5 tiny ones) and then passed away herself.

I didn't have her long enough to take a photo unfortunately.

Run free at the bridge Alice with your little babies. Sorry you didn't stay longer.

She is buried in the garden with her babies, and Astra one of the babies from another litter that sadly didn't make it.

Thanks. I thought that Alice might be ok, she perked up a bit and I put her in with another sow who had babies and she was fussing over the bubs and eating greens... then half an hour later she just faded and died in my arms. Pretty awful, especially after the babies. Never had any born dead before :(. Not a good day, that one!

Keeping fingers crossed for the rest of them.

I'm sorry to hear that Alice joined her Rainbow Bridge babies so soon. *Hugs* to you Sophie, it can't have been at all easy. xx
 
Dear Sophie i'm so sorry love to hear about Alice and her mini's 8...8...8...
RIP Alice and mini's run free at the bridge i'm sure you're all together and Alice you'll be showing the little ones the best patches of grass to eat and teaching them to popcorn as well, such a beautiful little lady so sadly you've gone so early, you'll NEVER be forgotten xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
