In dedication to my gorgeous Gizmo who passed away during the night on Monday 19th October after a short illness. He was without doubt the most gorgeous little piggie I ever had the pleasure of owning and I will miss him so much. He was such a little character and had the most gorgeous soul.

I am grateful for the seven years that I had in my family and he will be so missed by us all particularly by his little friend, Barney …x)

These photos were taken on Monday and as you can see everyone in the family was caring for him, my cat wouldn’t leave his side…:0

As a result of losing Gizmo and after much thought, I have decided to rehome Barney, as I cannot bear to keep him on his own as he loves piggy company. He is a one year old male and gets on well with other males (Gizmo was not his brother). He is a gorgeous little fellow and very vocal. Here is a link to the advert I have posted. He would come with and outdoor home and indoor home, hay, food etc. etc.

Makes me so sad, RIP little man.... You will always be in your mummys and Barneys heart! Shine brightly little one!

It is very hard when you lose a pet that has been with you for so long and leaves such a big hole.

RIP Gizmo - you are still very much loved and even more missed!

I'm so sorry to hear about Gizmo. He was a beautiful boy and he was in your life for such a long time. It is so very difficult coming to terms with the loss of a beloved pet and my heart goes out to you. I'm sure Gizmo will have all the ladies at Rainbow Bridge fighting over him to become his wife. Run free at Rainbow Bridge sweet Gizmo and watch over your family who are mising you terribly..

Thank you all for your lovely messages.

Farquhar, you are right it is so hard losing pets, my husband keeps telling me no more animals! as I do struggle when we lose them.

I think you are right about Gizmo, all the lady piggies will be fighting over him as he is a handsome devil! x)

Gizmo was such a handsome fellow, when a pet has been with you that long it's passing leaves such a hole in your life. Pets aren't just pets, they become valued members of the family. I'm so sorry for your loss. Gizmo may be gone but I'm sure his memory will live on in many hearts. x

So sorry to hear about Gizmo but I'm sure he is looking down at you now and having lots of fun at rainbow bridge with all the other piggys. RIP Gizmo x x x
