It's so strange losing Bette my immediately reaction was continous whailing, but I think the fact I knew what was wrong and understood my options before making my decision has helped me greatly.

I thought it would be the most devastating thing in the world losing a pig, but I now know watching her suffer was by far the worst thing I have ever gone though!

I have been putting my mind into remember my gorgeous girl, with my favourite pictures! Which I plan on placing above my piggies cage. Which means I can see her everyday. :)

You have such lovely memories of her Joanne.
And I now know exactly how you feel as I had to have my beautiful William put to sleep this morning. I can barely see to type through the tears. I can't bare to add his name to Rainbow bridge just yet. I feel as if I've had my heart ripped out.

It's horrible, but time does heal the heart. I'm sorry for your loss Lorna. I'm sure Bette will look after him for you. xx
 
Aww, she really was a gorgeous girl! What a lovely tribute. It is easier when you know it's going to happen, but losing a pet is never easy.

(Katrdralion, I'm so so sorry to hear of the loss of William :( How horrible for you. Big hugs to you. It will get easier with time, but the memories will never fade.

Bette was such a photogenic girl! I am so glad that you had the chance to own her as I really liked her when she was here and I could tell you were smitten after the first snuggle, it was clearly fate x

I would have loved more time with her, but I'm glad I could provide her forever home xx.
 
You have some wonderful memories of Bette, I love the photo of her curled up in bed and the background of the same photo, its really lovely, she can watch over the others now.

What beautiful and happy memories and photos of the lovely Bette to remember her by, that is really a great way to remember her, all the fun times and how cheeky/grumpy she is! She certainly has a very unique personalty and thats the way to remember her x x x x

You will always have great memories of Bette nothing can ever change that, try to remember all the good times and not the end. Little Bette was gorgeous and you will always be able to see her when you look at the photos. x
