You fought til the very end
You didn't give up the fight
You just kept on going
With all your might

We gave your favourite food
And Burke was always near
You loved your special cuddles
All throughout the year

You had to lose your eye
So pirate hare became your name
You had your teeth filed down
But it was never the same again

It was such a joy to see you
Grab the yummy tasty syringe
You just couldn't get enough of it
And took it off us in us in your cage

You ran straight to the yummy food
Desperate to get more
We tried everything we could to save you
But rainbow bridge just opened up the door

The day before your final one
You just had so much fun
Your cage buddy and you were in garden
In the shade but watched the sun

We all gave you a cuddle
It came as such a shock
On your final day
In our memories you would lock

We will always love you pirate Hare
You were such a sweet young boy
Have fun up in the rainbow world
Find the food you will enjoy

I am so sorry for the loss of your little piggy, massive hugs to you at this sad time.

Amazingly said. So sweet and touching. I am sorry for your loss. I understand the pain and empty spot you feel. Its never easy and I wish you peace.
