I have these two guinea logs, both girls and I actually just put them in their hutch but the one with long hair put it's head under my head and I started itching in a large area of skin. I don't want to to be because I am allergic but don't know what to Do!
Please help me!

Welcome to the forum! It could well be an allergy either to the pigs themselves or the hay dust they have on their hair. I myself am pretty allergic to their hay. I've found switching to meadow and orchard hay reduces symptoms by a lot, I steer clear of timothy hay as it is probably the worst for those with allergies. I take my piriteze tablet every day and be sure to wear a mask and gloves while cleaning them out. I find when a rash does appear, a cream like Eurax helps, although depending on how bad it is you can get stuff from the doctor :) A large amount of piggy owners are allergic to hay/piggies or even the bedding! For the most part it is really manageable and well worth it, piggies are great little additions to the family. When in doubt, have a chat with a pharmacist or your doctor to find what works for you.

I am allergic to almost everything from mould spores to pollen to dust mites. I also have terrible hayfever and even acupuncture doesn't help it at all. Acupuncture has helped most things eg it completely stopped my awful migraines for 18 months. I take hayfever tablets all year round and that helps. I get a bit snuffly around the piggies but not too bad. I would have a chat with your pharmacist or doctor as @Eriathwen has suggested.

It is possible to get an allergy test done at your Doctors, depends on what your docs are like of course, they can advise if you are allergic to guinea pigs or the hay.
