In the cold

If it's too cold or too hot then they don't cope well. Guinea pigs have hair, not fur, so aren't able to keep themselves warm in cold temperatures like say a dog can so they should be protected from extreme changes in temperature as it can prove to be fatal. The ideal temperature is between 18 - 24 degrees C
