Yesterday after bathing Honey and the gang I decided it would be nice to give Honey a hair cut while her hair was still wet.

She is really good as she needs regular trims so sits still. With it being warm now i gave her a good cut. She loves it popcorning more than ever.

BUT OH is mad with me says i have made a right mess and told Honey 'What would Mummy say if her Hair dresser cut her hair like this' ;D

Then it dried and i must admit does look a bit rubbish. What do you all think?

On this one because of the way i have combed it back it makes her look like a sheltie not a coronet. ::)

I'm usually good with trims but major summer restyles are just not my things. Honeys happy though :smitten:

Aww bless her, doesn't looks too bad Lindsay the layered look is hard to do. I used to just trim Cuzzy right around as I didn't want to make a pigs ear of it! ;D

as long as honey and you are happy with it ignore OH O0 if the weather in the UK is hot at least honey will be cooler and her popcorning shows she is happy :smitten:
:smitten: :smitten: she still looks a lot like our late rosie 0:) she is a real sweetie O0 :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:

As long as she's happier now, it dosn't matter. It'll grow back in a few weeks anyway, and you can give her a new haircut LOL ;D

she is stunning with that haircut does the OH not know the layered look is the look to have this summer :smitten: :smitten:

Milly has that 'I chopped it myself' look going on ;D I don't think it matters as long as they're cool for the summer O0

awwwwwwww i think it's fine love :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:
Linds you did a good job, and she's so adorable :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:

I think she looks great....... reallyy cute, you did a good job consider piggies dont sit still unless they want to. x

Oh you should see Moomin since what will now be known as 'Haircut Sunday' - she looks dreadful, as do all my other longhairs - but at least they're cool! I was kind of getting the hang of it by the end... anyway, at least they don't have mirrors eh!

She's beautiful!

It just takes pratice, I layer my long pigs, guide the hair in small sections between your 2 finger (so your fingers are pointing towards the ground/table) and then cut at an angle so that it will be slightly longer at the botton than top.
I trained as as hair dresses when I was younger, if you want some pictures I will ask my OH to take photos so you can see what angle to cut and how I hold the scissors, I use short round ended scissors (like you give to children, so they can not stab theirselves)

Oh yes please that will be very helpful. I normally chop into the hair like my hairdresser does when I'm just trimming put hacked a bit with doing a good cute! I think because she has regular trims its growing alot thicker now if that makes sense. Cant believe how thick it is need some better scissors. Thought about getting some thinning scissors.

hehehe my Dolly is just like your girl and she has regular trims more so by her bottom bits, Petal had her first trim the other day as well, she made such a fuss ::)

Your little girl looks so pretty :smitten: :smitten:

She is so pretty Lindsay she can carry the "choppy look" off with no probs ;D ;D ;D :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:

The difference between a good haircut & a bad haircut is 2 wks O0 & don't forget she has Trinny & Susannah to re-style her :smitten: :smitten:

I will get my OH to take photos tonight, as I am sure Pig-Pog wont mind having another trim, seeing its hot.
