Recently 10 male baby guinea pigs have arrived at Hopper Haven and all are unable to be rehomed.
They originally came from a breeder that was unable to sell them and rescued by someone else before coming to Hopper Haven.
Louise discovered on Saturday that all of them have dentle problems. One baby guinea pig has had his back teeth worn away completely flat. Another had a completely loose front tooth that came out really easily.
All of them are very thin with one only weighing about 500 grams but some are now eating much better since being given grated veg.
