Hi, haven't been on for a while! My guinea pig henna is about 5-6 years old and the last few days she is always wet round her back end. It's quite smelly and definitely urine. She's eating and drinking fine but does seem to sleep more. Is it just old age? is there anything i could do? Thanks

From what I have been advised as Theo says a wet back end normally signifies a UTI. Def get to the vets to get her checked. Good luck x

It does sound like a UTI to me too, so she definitely needs the vets. Incontinence can also be caused by ovarian cysts if they are large and pressing on other organs though it is not as common as a UTI. Septrin is the favourite antibiotic for UTIs.
