Indecisive pig!

So my Guinea pig, Leroy. He loves lap time. He purrs. Snuggles into my lap and even licks me! But he HATEs the picking up part. Any advice?
Also. He seems to have mood swings. He was well arsy with me the other day because I had to shoo him out from under the sofa.. .. afterwards.. he wasn’t scared.. he took the food (his favourite ) out of my hand and dropped it and stared at me. Then ate it when I left the room . It’s like he was trying to teach me a lesson 🤣 yet The next day he’s all Over me. Is this normal?

You know they have a proper strop on when they do that. The Daddy Slave upset Mischievous Master Boris once, he refused to accept a green bean and growled at him. Master Boris then gave me a cuddle while eating the green bean 🤣
