The ramp looks very steep to me, also it should have sides on it for safety, so there's no likelihood of the piggies falling off. I don't know what anyone else thinks? Plus, if you don't know whether they'll use a ramp, is it a bit of a risk?

not a lot of floor space You could afford a 3x2 c&c cage for what you would pay for that. I got plastic covered grids for 20 on ebay and use groundsheet (1 pound from pound shop) fleece and litter trays (less than 3 quid each) The twenty pound grids will make a 3x2 with couple spare although you will need cable ties to join them but these are dirt cheap Depends what bedding you want to use .I find fleece easier and just do litter trays every day. Mine have their own room on laminate floor so mess not an issue My girls wont use a ramp. I know people who just use the correx (see youtube) so that would be even cheaper and would keep mess in

How many girls do you have ?
This pen is 100cm, the recommended minimal size is 120cm for two piggies. If you add accessories i.e. hideys, tunnels etc. you'll be amazed at how little room piggies have left :(
I bought similar when we had our first two boys but the two tier, 120cm and they never used upstairs (the ramps are steep for little ones) so used it for a week only until we changed to C&C.
If possible, you could put the two cages side by side or form an 'L' shape pen with a little bridge between the pens. The bendy logs are good for this but would recommend putting a strip of vet bed or fleece over the bridge - I'm paranoid about piggy's feet getting injured :()
If you are handy DIY, the ramp could be turned into a little bridge with a bit of planning :)
Hope this helps as it is a good price :)

I have seen these in my local petshop and the ramps too steep for piggies and too bigger space to fall, for the price you will pay for one of those you could build a C&C I build 3 cages for £40. I got my grids off here from a member and I brought correx for £20 off ebay :)

so glad you said that, I bought it and it was a mare to use and too small for the 3 piggies I had at the time. I took it to the dump in the end and went with a 140cm cage.

Mind you loads of people on here get on with C and Cs (I tried them but it didn't work for me), the c and c picture thread is amazing, I don't let my guinea pigs looks!

xx

We got one of these over 2 years ago when we didn't know much about guinea pigs. Shortly after getting it, I found that one of our Piggies, Mother had broke her back leg. I suspect she may have fallen off the ramp. We continued to use it but I put sides on the ramp. I'd already put a rubber covering on the ramp because it was too steep to climb in it's original form. Eventually I took the ramp & closed the opening. I used it with 2 piggies in each section but it's much too small & wouldn't recommend. I'm now using the top part of it as a fostering cage for 2 young boars recovering after being neutered. They'll hopefully be re-homed next month once safe to be put with females. It really wouldn't be big enough for 2 adult piggies.
