Does anyone have them? I was watching the boys play today and they love the freedom of running about wherever, it's just my room has lots and lots of nooks and crevices that I try to block up, and every time they have floor time they find a new one! I was wondering whether anyone had anything like a piggy pen, so you set the boundaries of where they can go, but it's still a large area. My friend has one for her rabbit but it's an outdoors one with a hutch. Do they do runs for guinea pigs? It'd make clean up alot easier as well, as I don't need to go poop hunting! :)

Vicky we have a kids paddling pool that we put up in the lounge and the pigs can run round in it safely - we put toys and chubes in there for them and they are happy as larry - plus any puddles/poo beans don't get all over the floor, and it folds up really small. Ours about £10 from Argos.

Our dog takes care of the poop hunting ;D But if we don't want the piggies free ranging we just use grids for runs. There is like a pen thing for rodents on a pet website forgot what one tho.

KatieP - that's a great idea! In fact I think that's might be the one for me! Just as long as they don't bite it and it goes flying! Aww that would be cute though :smitten:

Piggies,x - That looks wonderful! Reckon it would be big enough for the boys - and it's cheap! Put a bit of newspaper down, some hay, food and toys and du dah! Funtime for Spooks and Moop (and funtime cleaning up the poops!)

Ah, that pen might not be high enough for the piggies! And my pigs can climb!

My local pet shop got me a very large indoor rabbit run which my piggies love and it is about 2ft high so they will not be climbing out ;)

It cost £20 but folds away nicely and has a carry handle it is about 5ft long by 2ft wide but can be made into any shape so ideal for fitting round furniture etc O0

I got my indoor pen from Ebay and they are amazing. I have 3 6sided one's that cant be joined together so if they are in a good mood I can put them all in together and they love it so much. x

You can also get puppy pens - like fencing panels that fix together, with a gate - these are often on Ebay.

I got a 'rodent playground' from Tesco for £4 - 8 panels that are hinged. Some of them do jump out but mostly they are happy popcorning around in it! They seem to like the change of scenery

Thanks Sophie, I think a puppy pen might be the way to go, you should be able to get covered ones as well I'm guessing. Prices of these pens run the gauntlet however, I just looked at two identical pens - 1 website 30 quid, another 60 quid! To be honest, I should really spend the money on getting my C&C cage up and running and then buy a piggie pen, since I can't afford both at the same time!

I used to have an indoor pen for them but they worked out how they could escape from it until it just wasn't worth putting them in it anymore - now I let them have free roam of the house while I'm in and use the pen parts to block off areas I don't want them going to (like to cables).
