Ball pit from the Early Learning Centre! :(|) Only £9 and a great size. Petal loves it and so did my beautiful girls Fudge and Rainbow. x)

Ooh I wonder if our four would like the ball pit instead of running riot in the bathroom and the hall and the livingroom if they are quick enough to get past us lol :)) x

Hi!
Anyone recommend an indoor run for 2 guinea pigs? I am looking at a puppy small animal playpen ebay item no:250578219402 or a hamster playpen

Being a new guinea pig owner I have no idea of how they can climb.
Any advice?:^-
Thanks!
Sam

I wouldn't recommend that one - I got it for my lot and they've worked out how to escape, and it's driving me mad! They don't climb over it, but they're worked out how to take it apart. I have boards surround it to try and stop them from escaping. So I've asked Santa for the ELC ball pit one so that they can't get out.

I ordered an ELC ball pit on tuesday :)) waiting for it to arrive - excited!

OOh nope I've got the cheaper version from tesco and one of my guinea pigs can jump it.
I went to answer my phone and saw that I was a guinea pig down, looked straight at the dog (poor Milo) and found my Alfie nuzzled between an asleep Milo's legs.
He is the hudini of the guinea pig world honestly you need eyes in the back of your head lol but Alfie always had a soft spot for Milo.

I have the hamster version in the original post - I got 2 at 9.99 each which makes a large run for my 3 piggies. Mine must be slow learners or unadventurous as they have never escaped despite spending 2 hours each evening in it! Fudge the gerbil otoh spends about 10 mins running around then climbs right out, as does our Chinese hamster so not much use for them! Nougat and Toffee ( gerbils) don't climb out so I suppose it all depends on individual intelligence/ agility/ spirit.
