Hi! I have a 9 month male guinea pig and after bathing him i noticed he tried to bite his nail off. Its very short and black and had started to fall off. we cant take him tomorrow to the vets or Tuesday but possibly wednesday. What can i do now until we are able to take him?

Could you post a picture of it? It sounds like he's had some sort of injury to it. Can he move the toe? You could try bathing it in salt water until you can get to the vets.
 
He can walk, run and popcorn normally. The toe is hanging off a wee bit and i don't want to pull it off encase of bleeding. Sorry I cant seem to send the photo but thx for advice!:)
