Hello, I have a gp named Vixie and upon cleaning her cage a few houses ago, I discovered she has an infection on her two back feet. I am trying to clear my scedule to get her to the vet asap. But in the meantime, do you all think this is bumblefoot. I'm very concerned for my little piggie. 20151210_205112.webp 20151210_205042.webpPs: these pictures were taken after I gave her a bath.

Hi there , it is lucky you spotted it, they are quite advanced bacteral infections , you are realy wise to
take her to your vet as there is a danger of it spreading
to the bone and causeing a condition known asosteomyelitis (bone disease ) and if this happens it will
take a long time to fix,

if you need any advice with the after care please post as there will usualy be somone here with
the experance to guide you

please let us know how you get on at the vets

Thanks for the advice, I'm taking Vixie to the Vet as soon as it opens this morning, it was coed when I found out last night

All the best! It very much look like an infection that requires antibiotics.

I just got back from the vet and some shopping for my little piggy, she will be ok, it is bumblefoot but it's not a bad case, I got antibiotics and the vet recommended soaking her feet in Epson salt once a day so I got that too.
