Hi everyone! I just had to share a super amazing experience with people who understand!

I had a piggie boy named nugget, and when he passed, it wasn’t long before I needed to fill the piggie shaped hole in my heart. In came benson and fletcher!

Sunday (after four years together) I lost my sweet fletcher. That guy was my heart pig. It was rough. I watched benson to make sure he was doing okay and had to decide what I was going to do.

Well- today. I went and met a few piggies because my guy was not having the solo life. And whether or not I was ready, he was. There, hanging out, is this teen, teddy pig with a mix of the same markings benson AND fletcher have. I joked that this could be a sign and as I left for home to think, and talk with benson, I heard Brittney spears singing ‘give me a sign’“😳 uh ok… insane”, I think. Well benson told me to bring him a buddy. So I did.

GUYS. Not a rumblestrut was heard, no frustration or confusion or any negative sign could be found. Benson, who is NOT a snuggler, laid into this sweet teen pig, who was more than happy to return the cuddle. They’re sharing a dome (which benson has neeeeever accepted 😳)within an hour of meeting, loving on each other. jasper- new piggie- is POPCORNING and benson is showing him around the digs happy as a clam.

Has anyone experienced such immediate bonding? Between a 5y/o boy and a 4m/o boy? Fletcher definitely sent Jasper to his brother for comfort and love and I just can’t believe this luck!

Thats so fantastic to hear ❤️
I'm in the exact position as you right now. My soulpig left us, and I adopted a 2 y/o boar. Trying to bond him with my 4 y/o at this very moment. Very much Rumble strutt going on over here 😂

Hahahaha I hope it went smoothly!

Wonderful news! :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo:

Nugget looks like he has got a pair of trousers/pants on - so adorable! ❤️

My Nosgan (Welsh for 'Nightsong') and my young Nye ('Noble') had the smoothest of bondings as well. Only that they looked like yin and yang had found each other in another instant and solid 'bromance'. It is such a blessing, isn't it?

Here is a picture from their frankly totally unexciting bonding. But they had met through the bars before and had obviously made up their minds straight away. :)

Widowed skittish Nosgan turned out to have no interest in any sows whatsoever (nor they in him) so I had to find him a little boyfriend - who turned out to be not just the opposite in looks but also in personality. Nye was just such little happy-go-lucky chap, who after Nosgan's passing went on to live for another 3 happy years with my then largest sow Hyfryd 'Lovely' in one of my enduring enduring and endearing love affairs - him being my smallest neutered 'husboar'.
They'd met and become friends while living next to each other. With Nosgan not interested in girls, there was no concern re. fights or fall-outs while living next to a pair of sows (Hyfryd and her rescue born daughter Hirael 'Long Brow'). Yes, there are rules and they are there because they cover a majority or the most common causes for problems but there are always exceptions. :D

Nye passed away on the evening of the Queen's funeral, aged 6 years and Hyfryd reunited with him at the Bridge just before Christmas that year, aged 7.

I wish your two boys as happy a 'bromance' as Nosgan and Nye shared!
