Wheeky
Teenage Guinea Pig
I was poo picking today and I saw a horrid little pale fly thing.
>>>
So, that was it, I had to clean the whole cage out, disinfect and scrub the correx with a toothbrush, pull the whole cage out and hoover and spray disinfectant on the carpet underneath etc. It just makes me really upset, I get mad that I allowed a fly to hatch and feel like the poor piggies are dirty and living in squalor. It makes my skin crawl and I'm still feeling guilty. 8...
It happened to me once before, where a horrid bug was sitting in the hay tray, and I just have to tear the whole room apart because I'm paranoid there will be others.
I have these insects that I just can't seem to get rid of (I think the one I found today was a baby one or something). They are pale flies/moth things but they seem to live in the carpet and leave shiny trails. I've scrubbed and shampooed but they just won't go. I sometimes see one flying round the room, they are very slow, and land on the walls. Anybody know what they are? At least if I knew I could read up on how to get rid of them specifically.
