Hi
My little pig Pancake currently lives inside in a large cage and will be joined by another piggy in the new year. In the summer months it is advised to put them in a hutch outside or stay in if they are used to it in here. Can someone give me some advice pls
Thanks

Hi Jen

It's fine to keep them indoors all year round as long as they're out of direct sunlight or can't get too warm in summer. They would be ok outside in the summer if you wanted to move them, but they can get too hot outside too... so it depends where is the most comfortable temperature. When mine are too hot in the summer I bring them indoors as it's cooler in my house (which doesn't get the sun during the day).

They do like to be out on the grass in the summer, I've got some that live out during the summer months, they've got a covered hutch for bedtime but during the day they can go in and out as they please.

hi Jen

i have mine inside all year round. I put my piggies out in the their run though in summer every day so they are getting fresh air and their grass each day.
