Hello all!
I found these pics on FB and wondered what are your thoughts? I always liked the idea of decorating piggies den and/or build some toys and bridges for them but I never do as I am too worried I might kill them

You can decorate a cage however you like on the outside. Just be aware that if you paint it needs to be ‘animal friendly’ paint and to keep any wires for fairy lights/plastic flowers etc away from where the pigs can reach it Or they will chew and destroy them. As for ‘furniture’, mine have fleece beds I bought on eBay and some I’ve made myself plus I always have something natural in there for them to chew on such as a log roll/sea grass tunnel/chewable balls. They also get cardboard boxes with two entrances cut out and they like to chew on those as well as hide and sleep in them. Just remember that the photo you see is just after cleaning (or probably has never had guinea pigs in it!) and things never stay that clean and nice for long!
