We are new to having Guinea Pigs, should we get pet insurance if so can anyone recommend a good company.
Thankyou

we dont have ours insured we're gonna set up a 'piggy bank' but there is a company called exotic direct that cover from £7 per month per pig

Thankyou have just looked through the thread and also got a quote from exotic direct which is £20 per month for the 2 guinea pigs which covers £2000 vet bills per year per pig now just need to decide whether to take out insurance or just save each month.

I have 2 of my 4 covered (the other 2 are older and been treated for various things that they would have to exclude so I didn't bother), and my sow racked up £2000 of vets bills in the space of 3 weeks!
