My apologies if this is the incorrect place to post...wasnt sure?

I am getting pet insurance for my two boys.

I can see there are many companies online, but I was wondering if anyone can recommend a good company....or more importantly-warn me of any bad experiences with a particular company!?

Many Thanks

Dawn xx

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think exotic direct is the only company that will insure piggies.

I have 3 of my 4 Insured with them; I'm currently going through the claims procedure for a bill of almost £800 already!

I will certainly insure all my future pigs after the medical experiences I've had with mine!

Thanks so much.

Will be getting that sorted right away! You hear so many stories of poorly piggies. Will feel much more comfortable knowing that I am covered for any problems.

£800! :...

Definately getting insurance!

Thanks again x

I'm with exotics direct....

I would always recommend insurance I spent £500 on my previous pigboy who I lost a few weeks ago. Had i got them insured beforehand I'd have saved a fortune...

Hence I am now insured!

done :)
Monthly payment of £20.82 for 12 months.

The peace of mind is priceless!

I'd never had been able to afford to take Maggie to a specialist, and it took a specialist to work out what was going on with her!

I genuinely do feel so much better now it is done

It sounds dramatic, when my guys are only 6 month(ish!) and a vet has told me they are healthy. But it is a relief.

I have been paranoid. The vet I went to was lovely but told me that to much knowledge can be a bad thing and to stop being anxious constantly and looking for problems and enjoy them :red

Patches sneezed, and I took him for a check up. He was fine and hasn't sneezed since. And if I'm honest I think he sneezed once.

I thought Hopsy had a cyst on his neck, a cyst that would of course explode and he would never recover from! He just has a double chin, no lumps, bumps etc ")

In saying that they have an appointment for another vet ( an exotic vet recommended on here) on Monday, just to be sure :(|)

I will still always check them and panic, but I do agree with the vet in a way. I need to relax or I will end up grey :{

And now I have insurance it takes some of the pressure off.

But...next week....my first nail cutting ?/ Seriously freaking. But I am going to be strong, in control and just get the job done.

She says.

The wee toes 8...
