Hi everyone :)

I may be interested in fostering, but I just want to know all about it first.

What is expected of me?
Do I have to pay for anything?
Do I have to look after ill piggies?

I'm basically offering a place for a healthy pig to stay until there is a suitable home found for them. I don't want to sound harsh, but I can't spend money on the fostered piggies due to other commitments (like my horse!)

Is this the basic principle of a fostering home?

I would gladly offer a place for a pig to stay so there is room in someones rescue for a pig 'more in need'. It'll only be up till September though due to me starting University. But if I enjoy fostering, I'll continue with it after Uni.

Thanks, PM if you want to :)

Best pm Petcrazy or ask x-vic-x, who fosters for the RSPCA Walsall.

Good luck! I wish I had the space to foster or to run an oldies group!

just to help answer some questions, normally the rescue will provide vet costs but you would provide the dried food, veggies and bedding ie:hay.
The most important thing you can offer is time to spend to handle the piggie in preparation of getting the piggie into a permanent home.

Thank you Wiebke & CGPR :)
I've sent the PM's.

I asked about this a few days ago ,I have put my name down with the wolverhampton rspca but there is not a lot more around me. Its a pity because I have the time and the cage but sadly no piggys.
